Mitsubishi Motors is recalling more than 4,000 vehicles with hybrid power plant

Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors withdraws from the market more than 4,000 of its vehicles with hybrid power plant due to a malfunction detected in lithium-ion batteries.
The company announced the recall of its motor companies Ministry of Transport of Japan on Tuesday.
The company Mitsubishi Motors reports that review extends to more than 4,300 car models Outlander-PHEV and a number of other models with a hybrid, the battery can be recharged in a domestic environment.
Department of Transportation reports that the batteries with damaged electrodes can cause a short circuit during charging, or even melt due to overheating.
