Japan will participate in talks of Trans-Pacific Partnership in July
11:15
Officials from the Government of Japan for the first time to take part in the negotiations on free trade in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) in July.

Representatives of the governments of 11 countries in the Asia-Pacific region have completed another round of TPP negotiations in Lima, Peru on Friday. The next meeting participants agreed to hold in Malaysia from 15 to 25 July.

Japan will not be able to take part in the negotiations TPP until July 23, until you complete the appropriate procedure in the United States. This means that in the July round negotiation Japan will participate for up to three days.

Before Japan will become a full participant in the negotiations TPP, it does not have access to documents related to previous rounds of negotiations.

Taking into account the short time of participation in the negotiations, the Japanese government plans to step up the collection of information on the rules for access to markets and other matters covered by the agreement TPP, sending it to their representatives in other member states.
