India's Prime Minister called for the strengthening of cooperation with Japan in the field of security

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has called for closer cooperation with Japan in the field of security.
Singh, who performs Monday his four-day visit to Japan, spoke on Tuesday with a speech in Tokyo on the development of relations between the two countries.
In particular, the Indian prime minister said that his country and Japan share the values of democracy, peace and freedom.
